OMG!!!
It was Sandy's birthday on the 1st, and it wasn't just any birthday, it was the big 6-oh! And the beginning of retirement proper, pensions, and becoming an official silver surfer n everything! And we all blinked and missed it! Sorry, sorry Sandy. Hope these cakes, flowers and every widgit I can thinkof right now make up for it a little bit.

I hope all's well in your worlds.
I returned to studentdom today. Very strange. But also very exciting! Lovely mixture of peeps on the course. All sorts of backgrounds, natrionalities and motivations, and all of us aged 33-63. So not your average Uni course.
Feeling very excited and hopeful about it tonight. Have a feeling that it will be like spiritualism, in that I'll end up wishing I'd started it

Volunteer Work at the Hospice

Last Thursday was the day when I was given my badge and became a volunteer at the Isabel Hospice. I was officially welcomed on board and I have my first shift there next Thursday as a bedroom assistant. You really don't have to hold back. I am hearing such and such would like one but doesn't like to ask. Well, do ask. I love playing with the skins, it's almost become a hobby.
