Hi everyone

I took a fit and decided we ought to have a Christmassy look, hope you like it, I thought it was nice and jolly looking !

I'm sorry it hasn't got all it's added-on bits and bobs...............that's cos I'm not clever like Sandy, and I'm sure we can manage without for a few days !

I'll change it back to our usual on the 1st January.

The calendar is very, very easy to use.

Two buttons.

One for now (Add Event) and one for repeat events, weekly, monthly, yearly, (Add Repeat).

Birthdays are automatically entered by the system.

Anything put on the calendar manually will show automatically on the day in the sidebar under "What's Happening Today"

Only that which you put in the title will show on the calendar and sidebar. But the system does require us to fill in...

The New Skin

At the moment you will see that the clock doesn't show up very well. I am waiting on new coding to change this so please bare with me for a short while.

You will notice an addition of a Content Toggler. This is the block of information links at the top of the board.

To use this you simply put your curser on any of the top list which will then bring up the links underneath related to that tag.

If anyone spots anything wrong anywhere on the skin can you give...

Change of Ownership

I would like to announce that within a short while Audrey (Nanny1) will be taking over the ownerships of this board.

Started in 2003, Audrey has been with me since it's first conception and has worked along side me every step of the way.

Since coming to Yuku she has worked hard to build this community back up to what it was prior to the Ezboard crash where we, along with many others, were badly damaged.

Just lately my interests have run to helping people...

I'm sorry I've taken so long to sort this out, but my lappy has been out of action for 9 days !!!

It has not been possible to pick an evening to suit everybody unfortunately, but I'm going with the poll result which was Tuesday !

Our first circle will be this coming Tuesday June 3rd at 9.00pm GMT in the Circle Room and I've even fathomed out how to send out a group message about it !!

Looking forward to a full house !!

Yuku have now introduced Gold Boards and Yuku Supporter. They will shortly be adding Adverts to the boards and as you know paying for the board to go Gold removes all Adverts.

The payment system for this has changed and in doing so is going to make a Gold board much more expensive. I am not prepared to let the few continue paying for the many as it was when we were on ezboard. Therefore I have disabled the contribution button.

Instead I am going to strongly advise all...

Our Chatrooms

At the moment you will be able to see two chatrooms the descriptions of which speak plainly regarding their use. All members are welcome in both of these.

The General Chatroom is where we can all pop in and out as and when we please regarding of time of day and this is where we will also be holding any fun evenings such as quiz nights.

The Chapel is for our Clairvoyant evenings whereby we do ask everyone to try and be on time for our opening prayer before the evening...

Hello everyone !

We are looking to re-start our Development Evenings as soon as possible !

In the past, we have held Meditation Circles, Clairvoyance/Clairaudience (Readings) Evenings, Healing Circles, Questions Nites and General Chat Nites .....all of which were successful, enjoyable and, in the case of Chat Nite, a good laugh!

We usually start about 9-9.30pm, by which time most households...

We now have integral calendars.

At the moment although we can view them and birthdays are automatically added we can't yet edit them nor do we have an automatic link on the board to them.

I have added a temporary link at the top of the side bar until they decide to add an integral link.

Now, as someone's birthday comes up that will automatically be added to the bottom of the board along with any up coming events that we might put on the calendar.

Just to let you all know Fran has now had staples out and is doing ok.......

BUT........................

her computer has blown up.....!!!

It is still under warranty but will take some time to get fixed........so she won;t be back with us for a while yet.....

I will keep you informed as to how she is doing. I will probably go down next weekend and visit all being well up this end with Kirsty and Max.....

I expect you can guess there was a major push last night which has resulted in some very strange bugs. They are trying to sort them all out at the moment but it may be a few days before things are back to normal so please don't panic, lol.

Well, it's my time to disappear again for a while. Saturday (tomoz) will be the last time I am guaranteed time on the comp until I can sort something out at the caravan site.

Even if I don't move into the caravan until the Monday, on Sunday the girls will be back and I wont get a look in on here as Aimee will be catching up with her mates as soon as she gets through the door.

I will, as usual, be able to pop on from time to time by using Sarah's and Bev's...

I have just found out what the problem may be. It seems that the new chatroom work with flash. It is possible that you don't have flash on your comp. Here is the address to download flash for windows.

They have changed the format of the calendar and in the process have messed up all of the dates recorded in there. So take no notice of them as I have only just spotted it and haven't had time to sort it yet.

But not to worry we will soon have a yuku integral calendar which will make life a bit easier.

Chat Rooms Now Working.

We now have two working chatrooms.

You will find a few things different in there, for the better I think.

The only thing is that we can't change the colour of our text which might have made it difficult to keep up with the speed of text but they have given us a drop down menu where we can choose an avatar to use in there. I have chosen a Bat. So if we all choose a different one we will get use to each of our avatars and see at a glance who it posting what.

As you can see we now have chatrooms although they are different from the ezboard ones. Also I personally haven't yet been able to get into them yet. Also the maximum amount of letters and spaces we are allowed to have in them is 300. I have set them to the highest as you know how we sometimes like to yack reams.

There are also changes to the reply format and not only the format but we also have a spellcheck which I know many people will be pleased with.

We now have several more changes on Yuku.

You will notice at the bottom of any posting you make there are more choices of boxes to tick.

We can now choose whether to stay in topic or be returned to the topics page just as we could on ezboard.

We can also choose whether we want to blog a particular posting. If you click to blog a posting it will now show up in a seperate box on your profile where people can click to read that post and also click to comment. See my...
