It doesn't seem to be any better Fran. She has been asking for pain killers on and off all day and it's not like Aimee to take pills for nothing. So it
must still be pretty painful. It's an effort for her to get to and fro the loo.
I'm sure with rest for a few days it will soon be better. I've still not heard anything today from the solicitors but hopefully I will tomoz. |

Hi everyone, thought I better let you all know
I'm still alive. OMG, I came here to retire and relax and all that rubbish! I've never stopped - think I'm just moving boxes from one room to the
other and back again with no progress in between! My older son Mark is coming over next week to do some work for me and I cant even find a space for the bed.
I doot I doot he'll need to sleep on the terrace. Think I better do a med and calm me down (must be looking forward to seeing him). xxx

All the hard work will be worth it when you are finally done Kate. I have that all yet to come although for me if I decide to buy a caravan just for me I wont
have anything to do except unpack my boxes.
Nice to know you are having a day of rest Fran, you need and deserve it. The sun is also shinning here as well. Aimee can now put her foot on the ground but she is having to use one of my walking sticks around the house to get too and fro the loo. Our Jess has her last ever day at Brownie this evening as she is 10 next week and would normally go up to the Guides now but she has decided not to. We have her birthday party the weekend after next where it will also be a leaving Hastings party for her as well. Aimee decided she wanted a sleep over for her leaving party so she has invited 6 girls to come friday week. No sleep for Sarah and me that night with all the noise they will make. Jess sleeps through anything, love her heart. I am still sitting here waiting for that very important call which still hasn't arrived. Oh well, it must be soon.

Aimee's ankle is now getting much better. She is able to put it on the ground and as long as she uses a walking stick she can get around the house. By the time the weekend is over she should be ok. I still haven't heard yet about my exchange of contracts for the house and once again I am getting worried as it's fast approaching the completion date we want. After a great deal of thought I have deffinately decided to buy a caravan for myself to live in in the summer months on a holiday park away from the girls. Who knows I might like it so much I decide to live in it all year round. This is mainly because I really don't have a clue what I want to do or where I want to be in a couple of years time when I retire. I am not sure yet if I will buy a second hand caravan or a new one from the cheaper range. I do think it would be nice to have one though that no one else has used. I will then put the proceeds of my house in a high rate savings account and should be able to just live off of the interest without touching the capital for a couple of years until I decide if I want to go back to living in a house or if I would rather then buy a very expensive park home and live in it on a permenant residential park. If I buy a new one I am thinking of either the willerby granada @ £35,000 or the willerby vacation £26,500. It will probably be the vaction as that is £9,000 cheaper than the granada. The granada comes with central heating but the vaction doesn't. Or they have a second hand granada for only £16,000. I haven't yet seen the second hand granada so I don't know how clean it is. I will make my mind up once I get down to Dorset. |

Pleased to hear Aimee is getting better Sandy . I wish they would hurry up and contact you it must be so worrying for you . I like Both of the Homes you have
chosen I could like in either lol . Must say I prefer the Granada Myself I like the layout better and it seems Roomier somehow . Would be great if the 2nd Hand
one turns out to be a Bargain . But as you say once you are down there you can Make up your mind . I have Sue Coming in a little while so may be missing until
Monday . Have a good weekend all and Happy St Paddy's Day to you all .

Both of those look very Nice Mam. There is more green in the 'Vacation' picture than in most of Yavapai County which amounts to about 1/5 of England's area but then again I don't need to own a lawn mower either lol. Just wanted to check in and say hello, still here, still dropping by and reading a bit to keep up on everyone. Sue, Franny. I'm still about for some Yahoo chat too. Just been keeping quiet the last few weeks. Remuda Ranch changed insurance....again... and caught me actually in the hospital this time. HR at Nina's work made a major snafu of almost all the paper work & now I'm stuck in insurance limbo, golly I do so love withdrawals . Next week is supposed to be all sorted so I'll be back in Phys. therapy regularly and my usual medicated to the gills goofy self & hopefully decent company. Hope your starting to get some sunshine and warmth over there, even if it's only a little. I'd box some up and share if I could. Jim |

Hope you and Sue have a great time Fran. I also prefer the granada as you are right it does look roomier although it's not really as they are both the
same width and length. Although those pics are showing the 3 bed ones so the living area is probably a bit smaller than it is in the 2 bed.
Always nice to see you "catching up" Jim. Sorry to hear you have yet more probs. Hope the insurance is all sorted soon. I'd go crazy if I couldn't see much greenery around me. I do so love the countryside. That would be one good thing about living in a caravan. Plenty of green but someone else to do the mowing, lol.

Oh we have mile after mile of countryside. It just doesn't come in the way of green much lol. Lots of browns & tans, reds and gray also being quite
popular. If I really get lonesome for green it's not that many minutes to the high country. Largest standing Jack Pine forest in the lower 48 states.
It's just natural when you think of Az. you think of desert but there are miles of rolling prairie grasslands in the NE and quite a bit of the central
northern highlands is hard to tell from the Rockies in Colorado to the casual observer.

I can't wait for spring. They have forecast snow for Monday and Tuesday. I just hope it avoids us again.
I haven't done much today. Trip to tescos, watched a dvd, afternoon kip, watched bit of rubbish tv tonight and that's it. |
