Is it possible to begin a home development section for those of us who are solitary and unable to join a group or circle locally or online?
Things we can study/practice independently with guidance to keep one moving forward? I know there is an online development and meditation circle here and I haven't asked to join it as the time difference makes it hard.. which is why I've come up with a possible alternative... since you've asked for suggestions...

I have put a clock on what will be the new skin for UK time so all will be able to convert to their own time easily with hardly any working out. Everyone will
be able to see at a glance when things are starting UK time.

your 9pm is our midday, etc, etc (which somehow sounds more civilised)! |

That kind of difference has got to be hard. I figured out what your 8 PM would be here where I live. It would only be 6 am. So I won't be able to catch
you in chat. I'm not even up at that hour.

You're right Holly, the time difference is a nightmare for getting us all together !!
Perhaps you could post up what is a good time of day for you personally, converted in to GMT ...............and the same goes for you too Trudi........and we'll see if we can sort something out !!

Aud I figured it out. I'm 5 hours behind you. So when It's noon your time it's 7am my time. so when we have the med evenings, I have to try
and make and eat dinner early or late. Julia doesn't like late dinners.

Thank you Trudi and Holly, yes it does help .......but it's still doing my head in !! Holly you're 5 hours behind GMT ........and Trudi you're 15 hours ahead of GMT ????? Have I got that right? So.............if we did something at 2pm GMT, that would be 11pm for you Trudi and 9am for you Holly !!!??? Would either of you be able to manage such
daft times !!???

LOL Audrey.. I think I'm +9 hours GMT.
Nights are completely out for me .. which is why I haven't joined a circle locally Audrey! Please don't stress over me joining. It was just a thought. *hug* Something will pop up one day!

Melbourne (EST) is GMT + 10,
ie currently Melbourne is + 9 (from UK BST). So... 9am for Holly, is 2pm for Aud and 2300 for Trudi. OR...5pm for Holly, is 10pm for Aud and 7am the next day for Trudi Just trying to be helpful! Rx |

Aud, now we have guests dropping in without having to go thro the permission routine, I think the 'Entrance Hall' block should be at the top of the
board, with a 'Visitor's Book' to sign into/say Hi at the top of the block and then a 'Want to join us?' thread below it where they tell us
a little about themselves and their spiritual interests. if they've had a look and want to do more.
I was just remembering how I felt as a newbie - seeing rooms like Chapel and Circle right at the top can be a little daunting when you know v.little. What do you think? Rx

Looking at it from a newbies point of view, that has to be a very good point Rach !!
I certainly wouldn't want a newbie/visitor to feel that anything here was "scarey-offy" !!! I shall speak nicely to our Chief Technical Officer !!!
