The calendar is very, very easy to use.
Two buttons.
One for now (Add Event) and one for repeat events, weekly, monthly, yearly, (Add Repeat).
Birthdays are automatically entered by the system.
Anything put on the calendar manually will show automatically on the day in the sidebar under "What's Happening Today"
Only that which you put in the title will show on the calendar and sidebar. But the system does require us to fill in something in the post that appears when adding an event so just put in a full stop.
How to add a title examples. Always use your name so we know who has said it.
Example 1, Add Event) I am going out for the evening - I would put in the title
Sandy - Going to the theatre tonight
Choose the date - Leave the repeat blank
Example 2, Add Event) I am going away for a week
Sandy - On Holiday
Choose the leaving date top - choose the return date bottom - this will then show "Sandy - On Holiday" for every day away.
Example 3, Add Repeat) Mums day of Rememberance
Sandy - Mum passed today 1990
Choose the date - Choose Yearly - Choose the last year showing on the drop down.
If you make a mistake it's easy to correct. - Click on the subject on the calendar - click to edit as you would a post - then change the date, change the wording or just delete the whole thing.
Please do all have a practice - There is no point in having a feature that is not being used. You can always delete anything you have practiced with.
