My son is a classic Indigo according to what I've read on the subject. He was a real handful as a child, (got expelled from Nursery!) and as a teen he continues to live life on his own terms. I very nearly went down the road of getting him labelled as ADHD at about age 6 or 7. And then luckily I stopped - I wasn't going to have him sedated anyway, and what use would that label do him? It would have given me some comfort to have a label to hide behind when he 'behaved badly', that's all. So once I realised a diagnosis would be more of a hindrance than a help I put the brakes on.
He's turning into a lovely young man now, and in retrospect I know I made the right decision. As for knowing for sure whether he's an Indigo (or whether your Julia is a Crystal), I think we may never know. We can only read around and learn what we can. Every child is different anyway, none will 'fit' exactly, all the time. My tactic was just to use the bits of advice that FELT right for him/us. And I tried not to worry myself sick over every so-called abnormality/developmental glitch, or whatever. It's hard I know, as we all only want to do the right thing...
