Meditation Evenings.

Our Meditation Evenings are held in the Library Chatroom which we call the Chapel. Keep an eye on the calendar for details of days and times.

All are welcome and you don't have to have meditated before. If you are new to meditation please make sure you read Grounding, Protecting, Opening & Closing so that you will know how to do this correctly.

How the evening will be conducted

As we gather there will be general chattering until whoever is chairing the evening calls us to order.

The room will be opened by a short prayer, and depending on who is taking the evening, we will be asked to go into a meditation for 15 to 20 mins.

It is best to either have a pen and paper beside you so that you can write down what you see or feel, or if you are a touch typist you might want to get up an e-mail or wordpad page to type directly onto it.

After we have meditated we will then be asked one by one to put in what we saw or felt. If you have already typed it out on an email/wordpad you can then just copy and paste it into the room.

Sometimes your meditation will be purely for you, but sometimes you may receive a spirit message for someone in the room. If you see nothing that is fine. Sometimes our meditations are just very relaxing, and we see or feel nothing. The main point is to enjoy meditating with others.

If you had a meditation with lots of detail that you would like to share, then on the night put into the room just the basics of it, and then after the text from the evening is posted you can add your meditation in full to it for comments from other members.

After we have all shared some of our meditation, the room will be closed by another prayer.

Once the room is closed we then move into the General Chatroom on this main board.
