Most of us love to listen to music, some like soft music and some like louder music. What ever the style of music it has an impact on you, it can make you relaxed, it can cheer you up.
Some of us may like songs for the words, but when we listen to songs and enjoy them for the music instead, this has an effect on our vibrational level, it shifts us up a gear, changes our mood and we begin to tune to a higher wave and vibration whether we notice this or not.
We will all find that some pieces of music, whatever the style, can have a positive effect on us in general, I have many songs that I will listen to for different reasons, certain ones will pick me up and make me happy and cheerful through the music alone, others will relax me and bring calmness. We will have all noticed how, if we are upset and play music, certain songs will either calm us or uplift us purely on a musical level.
When meditating, music has an effect too. It shifts your vibrational level up a gear as you relax into your meditation and you become more susceptible in discreet ways. We have naturally relaxed our selves more with music and the music then works with us taking us to a higher frequency.
Certain styles of music you may find aid this more, especially the purpose made meditation music, some are made purposely to awaken the chakras and spirit, some meditation music has also been created via channeling the music from spirit. Also we should not forget the wonderful music from various cultures like the Native American Indians, the Chinese and Tibetans which is created on a spiritual basis. Since many spirit guides are from these cultures, playing the appropriate type of music whilst in meditation helps you and them to draw closer to one another.
Music can enhance you and aid your development, especially in meditation and healing sessions. Shift up to that higher level and give it a try if you are not already.
